Outside you’ll find a large secluded sun terrace with wonderful sea views over the orange groves and vineyards towards Moraira & Javea. The ideal spot to try your barbeque skills and watch the sun go down!
Within a minute's easy walk is the gated communal pool and childrens pool with ample sun terraces to relax on. There are also two tennis courts available to use adjacent to the pool area. This communal area also benefits from having toilet / changing facilities and a payphone.
The apartment is located mid way between Valencia & Alicante in the scenic area know as the Marina Alta, where miles of orange groves, vineyards and olive trees are set against the backdrop of pine clad mountains and the Mediterranean sea.
Teulada is a short drive away and if you park up and explore the town and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Behind the main Avienda del Mediterrano you’ll find the old town with its narrow streets and quaint old buildings and churches. Visit the bustling main square outside the Town Hall and enjoy a drink or meal at one of the bars and restaurants. Why not explore the busy morning market held in the streets just off the main square every Wednesday.
Along the main Avienda del Mediterrano you’ll find several restaurants, shops and bars. Tapes Tapes is well worth a visit with its warm friendly atmosphere and excellent Tapas and A la Carte menus. Opposite is a good Pizzeria with a large varied menu.
At the bottom of the Avienda del Mediterrano is Teulada Station. Here you can catch the local FGV trains that run between Denia to the north and Alicante to the south. Tickets can be bought at the station or on board if you have the exact change for the machine. The trains run daily towards Alicante via most towns en-route including Altea, Terra Mitica theme park & Benidorm
Moraira’s beautiful El Portet beach is within a couple of minutes drive of the apartment, with it’s shallow bay and rock pools ideal for children, and café’s and bars to refresh yourselves while keeping an eye on them. Follow the coastal road and you’ll soon come into the lovely fishing town of Moraira, with its fish filled Marina and small castle fortress overlooking the larger sandy L’Ampolla beach.
There is a regular Friday market in the main car park which is always popular. The town has retained all of its charm as it has grown and is home to a very cosmopolitan range of bars, restaurants and shops. Taxi’s can take you to and from your destination at reasonable prices should you need them.
Follow the costal route towards the larger resort town of Calpe and you’ll travel one of the prettiest routes in the Costa Blanca, with numerous coves to discover. The town of Teulada is a short trip away, with it’s train station. Here you can catch the regular local trains to between Denia and Alicante, including stops at Benidorm and the Terra Mitica Theme Park.
30 minutes drive brings you to Benidorm with its major attractions including Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Park, Terra Natura Nature Park, The Mediterranean Casino and the famous Benidorm Palace. |
