There is a market held in Guardamar every Wednesday from around 8.00am-2.00pm which takes in about 7 streets at the back of the church in town. Parking is not easy in the town but suggest you park by the beach and walk up, or walk from the apartment which will take approx. 10 minutes. Los Montesinos market is held on a Sunday and to reach this you will have to drive taking the motorway N332 sign posted Torrevieja and Los Montesinos is sign posted to the right. This market is down Lemon Tree which is the main road from the turn off and the market is opposite a Garden Centre. This market is very large with different national restaurants included as well as numerous stalls, starts early and suggest if you wish to park with ease arrive around 8.30am-9.00am.

Guardamar del Segura is a desirable tourist destination with its beautiful landscape of sand dunes fringed by eucalyptus and palm trees, 11km of fine sandy beaches, historical and festive attractions.
