Located in beautiful countryside yet only 7Km from Cognac. L'Abricotier has views to the South across the vineyards to the local village of Cherves Richemont. The Mill stands in 11 acres (3500 sqM) of parkland and woods and the river Chazotte still runs through the grounds while passing directly under the mill building. There is a large 6M x 12m heated swimming pool which uses a mild saltwater system and so is gentle on the skin, especially the children. The pool has young child-proof fencing but still the compound has ample room for sun-bathers to relax on the loungers.

There is a large open-fronted barn which houses a table-tennis table and two table-football machines. The field in front of the building is large enough for golf practice and ideal for games like baseball and rounders or cricket as well as football. In the shady woods there is a badminton area and a jogging track. A number of bikes are available because the terrain and virtual absence of traffic make the surrounding countyside perfect for easy cycling. For the more adventurous there is a Canadian canoe which can be used to paddle upstream to neighbouring villages and back.
