Directly at the Place Vendôme, a 5 minutes walk from the Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysees, and the rue Faubourg St Honoré with its unique Haute Couture boutiques- Dior and Channel merely minutes away. The rue de la Paix (Street of the Peace) is the most expensive street in the Paris version of the Monopoly game. It connects the Paris Garnier Opera to the 17th century Place Vendôme, where the famous Ritz hotel is located. The rue de la Paix is above all most famous for its very fashionable jewellers such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Rolex, as well as the modern Poiray, Boucheron, Van Cleef and Arpels.

This is also an important business district with a distinct international flavour, as one side of the Place Vendôme still belongs to the JP Morgan bank as a gift for its active wartime support of France in the 19th century.
