There is a restaurant and bar in the Golf Club House, 5 minutes away, but for more choice of restaurants and shops, Béziers is only 10 minutes drive away, Pézenas 15 minutes or Montpellier 40 minutes.
Spain, Andorra and the Pyrenees are within easy reach.
Carcassonne and Perpignan airports are 90 minutes drive, Toulouse airport is 2 hours drive and junction 35 of the A9 motorway is 15 minutes away.
Budget airlines fly regularly to Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse and Nimes.
The beaches of the Mediterranean, with the resorts of Cap d’Agde, Vias Plage and Portiragnes Plage are only 15 minutes drive away, while to the north the mountains offer a number of cooler lakes, ideal for a refreshing dip in the summer.
Cathar history is present almost everywhere and the ancient fortress of Carcassonne is only an hours drive away. Carcassonne castle is well worth a visit, especially on jousting days!

Pézenas has a large open-air market every Saturday which is well worth a visit. The town boasts that it was once the home of Moliere and there are many craft shops, restaurants and beautiful buildings. During July and August on a Wednesday and Friday the craft shops are open until midnight and you will often find street theatre groups to entertain you !
Montpellier, the elegant and cosmopolitan centre of the Hérault, is 40 minutes drive.
The beautiful tree-lined Canal du Midi which links the Atlantic with the Mediterranean has miles of flat walks along the shady tow paths.
Cap d’Agde (15 minutes) has beaches and water sports, boat trips, beautiful harbour, golf, casino, fashionable shopping, nightclubs, waterfront restaurants, several children’s theme parks and a fabulous water park (Aqualand).
Monasteries and castles abound in the area and there are plenty of vineyards where you can taste some of the best wines in France.
About an hour to the south there are the Pyrenees and it is possible to take a day trip (about 3 hours each way) to Andorra.
