Villa - House to rent in Seggiano Val D`Orcia Tuscany Italy

La Silva is an old attractive stone farmhouse set on a peaceful hillside with panoramic views and surrounded by a lovley garden and olive groves.
The house is on two floors with a spacious arched veranda overlooking the garden and pool furnished with tables and chairs for al fresco dinners. Next to the veranda the BBQ and the pizza oven at the guests disposal.

The interior is comfortable, with exposed beams and cotto floors, giving it a very attractive, rustic ambience.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom; a living room with tradiional old fireplace and tv. Five steps from the living room lead to the spacious dining room with a second fireplace and the well equipped kitchen (large cooker, big fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and oven).

Stairs lead to the first floor where we have two triple bedrooms each with a double bed and a large single bed, ensuite shower bathroom. There is also another double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and a kitchenette with asmall fridge and cooker. There is a beautiful panoramic terrace and one more double bedroom with ensuite shower room.

The house is surrounded by a panoramic garden where the swimming pool (12x8 m- deep 1.50/2.50 m) is set. This property is the perfect place for a completely restful holiday.

The house is approached by a country road not suitable for low slung cars.
Sheep and a black pigs are bred by the young owners in the estate. Next to the main house there is the annex lived by the young owners, out of the property all day long working .

On request the owners can prepare typic al Tuscan dinners for the guests. The price for the dinners starts from 18€ to 30€ per person, drinks not included.
Horse riding lessons (15€ per hour for beginners – 18€ per hours per experts riders) and daily excursions (40€ per person) are organized by the owners for the guests.

Seggiano is just 2kms away, with a small supermarket, chemist’s and post office.
Siena is 65 kms away and Grosseto is 60 kms away.
The top of Monte Amiata, the highest mountain between Siena and Grosseto is just one hour drive; while Castel del Piano (7 kms away) offers supermarkets, hospital, restaurant, bank etc.
Meals can be cooked and served at the villa for guests for between 18 and 30 euros per person, plus wine.
