Villa Country is a lovely Tuscan Manor house on a lovely estate in the hills between Arezzo and Florence. Perfect for larger parties seeking peace and tranquillity, this spacious villa is comfortably furnished in country style and retains many of its original characteristics such as oak beams, vaulted ceilings and stone fireplaces creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The private swimming pool in the garden is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoys pretty views of the countryside.

The villa has been recently renovated to a high standard and now forms two semi detached split level apartments. The furnishings are in keeping with Tuscan tradition including wrought iron beds, some antique pieces and the modern comforts of satellite televisions, and internet access have also been added.


Each apartment has two levels, Apartment 1 has a spacious living/dining room with fireplace, kitchen area, shower/w.c. and an archway leads to a sitting area with settee and armchairs (which can convert to 2 single beds on request to accommodate 2 extra persons). Stairs leads to the upper level which has three lovely bedrooms, and two shower rooms.
Apartment 2 has a living/dining room with fireplace, kitchen area, shower/wc and there is a cosy sitting area with settee and armchairs. Stairs leads to the upper level which has three pretty bedrooms, and three shower rooms (one also with bath).


Surrounding the villa are spacious gardens with lawns, where there is a private swimming pool (12m x 6m) enjoying a beautiful view of the countryside. Close to the house is an annex building now converted into a large dining area with fully equipped kitchen with pizza oven, and shaded outside terrace with barbecue creating the perfect spot for the whole party to prepare delicious meals and dine al fresco together. Near the house is another farm building housing the owners farm equipment, a beauty farm, and his well cared for vegetable garden, where he proudly grows an abundance of produce which can be sampled locally.


Villa Country is surrounded by rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Guests are free to explore the estate and marked trails through the nearby woods are perfect for a leisurely walk and also lead to the estates tennis court and its own fishing lake.


When you can tear yourself away from this idyllic spot there is much to discover. The picturesque towns of Poppi and Bibbiena with their supermarkets, shops and restaurants are close by and Florence and Arezzo are within an hours drive. Lovely local hill towns are a joy to leisurely explore, and road and rail links make the rest of Tuscany’s treasures easily accessible.


Parking is in the grounds next to the house.


Note: the two split level apartments each have their own entrance and are not interconnected.
