Villa Ponza is a spacious and airy villa with a huge panoramic terrace. Situated in a fantastic position between the famous town of Sorrento and the beautiful Amalfi coast, there are wonderful sea views of the bay of Naples and nearby islands. Below the villa is a picturesque little bay with a pebble beach and bathing jetties. Villa Ponza provides very comfortable accommodation and is perfectly located for exploring the many sights in the area.

Villa Ponza is furnished in a very comfortable modern style and is very well equipped with the added bonuses of satellite television and air conditioning. The villa’s accommodation is all on the ground floor, as it is built cleverly into the hillside its entrance is reached via steps. Its large living/dining room has patio doors opening onto a lovely terrace furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco whilst enjoying the magnificent panorama.

The four bedrooms are airy and comfortable and all have ensuite shower rooms and patio doors which open onto the large balcony with a fantastic view of the sea and the islands beyond. Steps lead directly from the villa to the seafront, pebble beach and bathing jetties the ideal spot to relax and swim in the clear blue waters. .

When you can tear yourself away from this idyllic spot, there is plenty to see in the area. Villa Ponza is just a short distance from the little village of Massa Lubrense and only a few kilometres away from the famous town of Sorrento which is well worth a visit, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants which are a joy to explore.
Lovely whitewashed towns such as Positano and Amalfi built loftily on the hillsides looking down towards the clear blue sea are close by, and you can also enjoy a trip to Mount Vesuvius or the ruins at Pompeii.

The owners who are friendly and helpful are happy to arrange organised excursions for you and the local bus service also reaches many of the local towns. Boat trips along the coast, and to the beautiful islands of Ischia and Capri are also normally available, and there are ferry services from Sorrento.

The cuisine in this area is superb, what better to lazily shop for the local produce and excellent fresh fish, to then dine alfresco on your own terrace overlooking the sea, or try out one of the selection of local restaurants or even a delicious Neopolitan pizza. Breakfast can also be provided at the apartments on request. Some parking is available.

Note: As the estate is built on the hillside, there are steps to the villa, seafront and surrounding area, therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficulties.
