The apartment is stylishly furnished with fixtures & fittings designed to maximise your enjoyment. Please note that due to it's location up the hill use of one's own car or a hire car is highly recommended in order to get around.

Varenna is one of the most picturesque towns on the lake, its steep winding alley ways lined with charming homes, little boutiques, flowering balconies and lace-curtained windows. Just above it is the ancient castle where Theodolinda, Queen of the Lombards, is said to have died in the 7th century. Two famed villas to visit here are Villa Cipressi, with terraced gardens cascading right down to the shores, and Villa Monastero, a true showcase. The location is ideal for access to Milan and also there is a local ski center as well as access to the famous St Moritz in less than 90 minutes.
