It is right in the centre of things and offers you, great sort of restaurants, from sea food, to regional dishes, a covered market, supermarkets, wine shops to die for.
The antique tourist tram nº 28 stops near the building and whisks you downtown past the major monuments plus passes the nightclubs and Fado houses.
Within walking distance (800 meters), there are Train station and bus terminal. The train takes you to the amazing coastal town Cascais. Lisbon is Europe’s best-loved city destination, where else can you combine a cultural and historic vacation with golf and beach holiday.

Sintra is situated 30 kms from Lisbon and can be reached by rail. The station is 5 minutes walk from the flat. Sintra has 2 Royal Palaces, is refreshingly green and cool in the summer and is a World Heritage Site.

In particular the Old City Center, which is today the quarter „Baixa“, still alludes to the traders and craftsmen based in the area since the Colonial Period. The historical buildings - with their blue tiles, various monuments, restaurants and specialty shops make Lisbon an attractive place to visit. On the Rua Augusta – the main pedestrian street - you will see many street vendors, flower sellers, musicians and actors, all creating a dreamlike atmosphere. It leads directly to the Tejo river ending at the triumphal arch of the „Praça do Comercio“.
Due to the devastating earthquake of 1755, Lisbon had to be rebuilt. For this reason, today we can enjoy it´s impressive XVIII century architecture.
Apart from the city sights and night life entertainmente, Lisbon offers a number of leisure activities. Being so close to the Tejo river and to the Atlantic Ocean, there are many water sports possibilities available. Only a few kilometres separate the city from the coast, where you have beautiful beaches - like the famous Cascais Beach. Also for golf players there is a range of fantastic golf courses in the surroundings.
