Bernie´s Folly is a lovely new (2007) 1-bedroom apartment just two or three minutes walk from one of the best beaches on the Algarve.

Bernie´s Folly is a delightful apartment with an L-shaped balcony, one side of which is south facing, meaning that you can sit outside and not be in the full force of the midday sun - all the bonuses and none of the disadvantages!

This apartment is definitely one you can relax in. It has good sized bedroom with twin beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge/diner with a very comfortable double sofa bed - the owners often sleep on it themselves so can guarantee a good night´s sleep!

All the rooms open on the the balcony, which therefore runs the whole length of the apartment and round the corner at the end. There is a built-in barbecue on the balcony.

The swimming pool is a couple of minutes´ walk from Bernie´s Folly. As you can see from the photos, there are two full size pools plus a small one for your younger children and plenty of green grass to run around on. It is in a secure area so your children are safe.

Bernie´s Folly is well situated for the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. It is not in the middle of the shops and restaurants area, just a minute or two outside in a mainly residential area - having said that, there´s a lovely restaurant just opposite the apartment! Generally, all the shops and restaurants are literally just a couple of minutes walk away and there´s a great choice as well - Chinese, Indian, Portuguese.

And another good thing about Bernie´s Folly is that although there is an underground parking area, you don´t need a car - with the beach and the pool both just a couple of minutes from the apartment even your toddlers will find it an easy walk!
