Located right on the coast, 50 km north from Lisbon, there is this fishers’ village that dates back to 1229 and that is called Ericeira. It is a place known for its white houses that were constructed on the top of the cliffs, offering a fantastic view to the blue ocean and boasting of a wonderful setting very next to the local beaches. . Ericeira is a very picturesque fishers’ village that is situated near Sintra and Mafra. The ancient and typical centre of this village invites you to a stroll through the narrow and winding streets, taking you very far back to the past.
Ericeira has an undeniable connection with the sea – it is a place where the Atlantic serves as the scenery's background. The cliffs that go along the coast offer Ericeira a unique beauty - and so do the small fisher boats that bring ashore the best and freshest fish that you can order in many of the village’s restaurants.

Surfers, both national and international, come to Ericeira in search of the best waves, being that the place of worldwide reference to all practitioners of this discipline.

The famous village of Sintra with its Palácio Real as well as the village of Mafra and its huge monastery are within short distance from here. Estoril and Cascais, too, are only 35 km away.

The living room includes a sleeping and a dining area (a sofa bed for couples) and is equipped with cable TV, a DVD player and a hi-fi stereo system. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower.
