The unit was gutted and completely redesigned so that it luxuriously holds 4 skiers or golfers, depending on the season, and with a little crowding, 6 people using the queen-sized couch in the living room. The views are those of the nearby mountains, and frequently include views of wildlife, especially black bear. There are storage cages for skis and bicycles in the basement where the cars are parked. Consequently the unit never suffers from bangs and scuffs from skis and poles. From the back door of the building on the 2nd level, you can ski out to join the main path to the gondola/chair lift to the top of Blackcomb Mountain, and ski right back to the building at the end of the day. There are washers and dryers available on the 2nd floor, but no unit has its own. 209 has a superb kitchen which is fully equipped for cooking.
