This plantation-style, pink and white timber and coral stone holiday home, built in 1988, comprises two spacious (1730 sq. ft. each) beachfront apartments. Built to the classic dimensions of Raj-era officers quarters, the design incorporates the best of colonial styling, with jalousie shutters, limed timber panelling, coral-stone feature walls and huge, full-length balustrade verandas.
Attractively furnished with a beach lifestyle in mind, each apartment - lower (No. 4) and upper (No. 5) - sleeps four and has two comfortable, air-conditioned double/twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and separate WCs.
The open-plan living space has a well-equipped self catering kitchen and dining area set at one end, and a relaxed lounge at the other. Folding doors open out on to the private shaded veranda, which overlooks pawned gardens and the secluded white coral sands and sparkling turquoise water of beautiful James Bay.
James Bay provides a comprehensive range of guest services, including daily full-day maid service, daily linen change (Bed linen, towels and beach towels), night watchman and gardener. We can also arrange for a cook to prepare and cook two meals a day of your choice.
A hire car is recommended. Baby-sitters can be arranged.
Self catering kitchen facilities include: full-size fridge freezer, full-size oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, juicer/blender, double sink, built-in drinking water filter, washing machine, spin dryer, ceiling fan.
