Paphos Area Information
On site in the Aphrodite village centre, there is an excellent mini market including bakery, a number of shops, some good reasonably priced restaurants, Asian, Italian and Greek and a fish restaurant. Costa Coffee House and a sports bar and the 5 star Intercontinental hotel which itself has a number of highly recommended restaurants.
There is also the 'Rainbow Kids Club' open 5 days or 7 days a week depending on season for ages 3 to 12 and a well equipped area exclusively for teenagers with disco, pool and table football, computer games and internet access.
Coast/Beach
2km from the nearest beach (pebble) and 10 mins to Pissouri for water sports and a sandy beach. Other lovely beaches 20 mins away.
Golf
Aphrodite Hills golf course is outstanding. Designed by Cabell Robinson (responsible for Valderama among others) with numerous different tees it provides a fair test for pros and club golfers alike. In the next valley is the Secret Valley golf course which though less prestigious is a good scenic course with a lovely clubhouse. However you will find it difficult to tear yourself away from the outside of this villa where everything for a superb relaxing holiday has been catered for. It is just like being in a small goutique hotel with no expense spared on furnishings and accesories. We can provide a breakfast chef, dinners for celebrations or buffet service with drinks upon request. We can cater for weddings of up to 65 to sit down and 120 buffet style and a full wedding planning service is available with everything arranged from flowers to photographer, food and drink. Cots and hire chairs can be provided on request and help with arranging car hire.
Skiing
The Troodos Mountains just 1 hour drive away - provides wonderful walking and cycling in spring/summer and skiing pistes with good skiing conditions from January to March.
