many shops immediately adjacent. The bus stop is adjacent,
with service to Torrevieja, Alicante and Cartagena. Fares are a euro or two. Numerous excursions are provided every day by private operators at extremely reasonable rates. Parking is available in basement for each car user. A market is held on Thursdays.

Torrevieja has a popluation of about 100,000 and has a very popular theme park, and many tourist attractions, including a hop-on hop-off tour bus. Restaurants and cafes abound, both in the city and along the beautiful water-front. Boat trips can be taken to the nearby island.
