Les Ages is a pretty detached cottage, near Oradour Sur Vayres, looking out onto open countryside in the beautiful Haute Vienne between Limoges and Angouleme and bordering the Dordogne and the Charente.
The cottage in its own gardens and with a pool is in a peaceful, rural setting with good local amenities.
Les Ages is pet friendly and welcomes children.
Accommodation
The open plan ground floor has a kitchen area with microwave, gas cooker with oven, fridge, washing machine and is well stocked with china, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The dining table seats six.
There is a 3-piece suite, CD player, satellite TV and a wood burning fire.
Stairs lead to a good size landing area with a lovely view of the open countryside.
Upper floors
Double bedroom.
Modern bathroom with shower unit with WC.
Further stairs lead to:
2 single bedrooms and the other double bedroom.
A cot is available on request. Duvet and pillows are provided. A bed linen hire service is available if required.
During the winter months the bedrooms are heated by electric radiators, whilst the wood burning fire keeps the downstairs cosy.
Grounds
The garden has mature trees, shrubs and flower beds. It is a garden to lounge and relax in (sorry no ball games allowed).
There is a patio area and grassed areas with plenty of garden furniture and a barbecue.
The 7.5m x 4.5m pool and enclosure with surrounding deck and terrace was added recently.
We are prepared to welcome any well behaved dog as long as it does not foul the garden or sleep in any of the bedrooms.
We are 'on-site' but this does not mean 'in sight'. We will greet you on arrival and will respect your right to privacy during your holiday. You will see as much or as little of us as you wish.

St Mathieu (10 minutes) and Videix (20 minutes) are two of the many lakes that have been landscaped and have beach areas and facilities for bathing, water sports, picnic and play areas.
