This spacious granite house is set in an unspoilt valley less than a mile from the pretty village of Guenin, which has a bakers, general store, butchers, post office and lively Celtic bar. It is only 5 minutes drive from Baud where there is a good selection of restaurants, and shops and a weekly market. The property is within easy reach of the Gulf of Morbihan, the historic cities of Josselin, Auray and Vannes, five excellent golf courses, numerous walks and cycle paths, and popular fishing rivers.
The house has been tastefully modernised and furnished to offer comfort and privacy whilst keeping its character. It has a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The attractive living/dining room has a wood burning fire, exposed granite walls and two french doors onto the terrace.
Leinprat can sleep up to 12 people in comfort in six bedrooms. There is a downstairs twin bedroom, two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms on the middle floor, and a large double bedroom in the attic. It has a downstairs shower room and a separate WC, a family bathroom with WC on the middle floor, an en-suite shower room with WC in the attic. The house has a south facing terrace with barbecue and a table for twelve.
The garden is very private with mature trees. There is a large terrace for outdoor meals and barbecues, and a fenced pool area with a sunbathing patio with loungers.
The pool is 8m x 4m with a deep end and Roman steps into the shallow end.

Morbihan Area Information
Lienprat is situated in a beautiful area of Brittany. There are numerous cycle routes and walks. 5 Golf courses. Historic Towns of Vannes, Pontivy, Josselin and Auray. The Megaliths and prehistorisc burial sites. Carting, Paint balling and exciting high wire forrest trail all close to the property.
Guenin has 2 bars and a Bakery. Previous guests have found both Bars welcoming, one is a traditional French bar the other a more lively Celtic bar. There is park area where Boules and crazy golf can be played.
Five minutes drive away is the town of Baud which has a beautiful Church, a Saturday morning market, 3 Supermarkets, numerous Bars and Restaurants
Le Cheval Blanc, an Auberge has been popular with guests. There are several Creperies, a Vietnamese and two Pizzerias.
Activities
The Blavet river is delightful for cycling walking and fishing, Canoes and Pedaloes for hire at St Nicholas des Eaux a delightful village with Bars and restaurants on the banks of the river.
There are 5 Golf courses within an hours drive. Golf can be pre booked through Formule Golf.
At Camors there is a challenging Forest trail, with courses for all ages and fitness. Paint balling is also available.
There is a Go Carting track at Plumeliau.
The Southern coast of Brittany benefits from delightful beeches some great for families others popular with surfers. The Golf de Morbihan has numerous islands and is popular for sailing and boat trips.
History
Brittany numerous Prehistoric monuments. There are the standing stones at Carnac, prehistoric grave sites and Megaliths all around the area.
In the Blavet valley there is the medieval village of Poul Fetan and the 1,000 year farm at Melrand
There are several Historic towns and Cities.
The walled city of Vannes has markets Wednesday and Saturday but is worth a visit at any time to see the historic cathedral, architecture and gardens.
The port of St Goustan at Auray has some charming Restaurants on the medieval Quayside.
Josselin with its impressive Château and delightful streets.
Port Louise where the Fort contains a museum about the "Compagnie des Indes".

Festivals
Lorient - Celts from all around the world descend on Lorient For the Interceltic Festival.
Quimper - held over nine days at the end of July and features a huge gathering of Celtic artists, musicians and dancers.
Dinan - medieval days come to life during Dinan's spectacular Fête des Remparts held over four days in late July. This is probably the largest celebration of medieval culture in Europe, with exhibitions of jousting, drama, dance, music and ancient crafts.
Concarneau - is France's largest fishing harbour, and the town's Fête des Filets Bleus. Is a traditional Breton festival celebrating the fishing, culture and music of the region.
Saint Brieuc - held in late may, the Art Rock Festival in Saint-Brieuc combines modern music with performance art.
St Malo - La route du Rock Festival has two shows a year, one in summer and the other in winter. Lasting for three days.
Vannes - each year Vannes has a six day Jazz festival
There are many smaller festivals throughout the summer- look out for details advertised on the bus stops and supermarket notice boards
