Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer and large sink are located in the garage together with tables, chairs and sun loungers for outside
Living Rooms: Lounge has 2 large sofas. TV with free to air satellite and DVD player. There are also some books and a large coffee table and tourist information folder
Dining room is open to the kitchen with dining table for 6 people and two extensions for 10 people
Other: There is a large entrance hall with staircase, bookshelves and sofa.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Bed linen is provided, towels can be provided for a small extra charged. The house will be clean on arrival if further cleaning is required during a let please notify our caretaker who will arrange it for an extra charge.

There is a narrow balcony to the front and side of the house. There is a barbecue and outdoor furniture for use in the garden. The swimming lake and beach are only 5 minutes walk from the house.

Puivert is our village within walking distance. Limoux famous for its sparkling wine like Champagne and Mardi Gras celebrations, 30kms. Mirepoix medieval village with fantastic market square and market on Monday 30kms. Renne le Chateau connection to La Divinci Code 50kms. Gorges, grottos and the Pyrennean mountains all withing easy driving distance.

Puivert has a shop, bar, post office, boulangerie and visiting butchers etc. A weekly evening market in summer months. Nearest supermarket at Belesta 15kms - supermarkets, banks etc Lavelanet 20kms Quillan supermarkets banks Wednesday market 16kms. White water rafting just outside Quillan. Walking and hiking or cycling from the house. Horse riding in the village.

Nearest airports are Carcassonne, Perpignan, Toulouse. Girona in Spain is 3 hours away. The nearest channel port is Santander. It can be reached from the northern ferry ports by the excellent motorway network.
A car is not essential as the village can supply most needs but in order to visit the many interesting places it is recommended.

Coast/Beach
Puivert lake has a small beach and grass area. The Mediterranean is an hour and a half by car with a choice of beaches.

Skiing
Mont d'Olmes approx half an hour away. Camurac and other ski stations are from half an hour away.
