Nestled between Birmingham and the West Midlands to the north and the Cotswolds to the south Warwickshire has a fair share of rolling countryside and history and heritage to share.
Places of interest within the county include Kenilworth and its magnificent castle ruins. It is also thought to be the location of the first planted potato on British soil that Sir Walter Raleigh brought back from South America.
Leamington Spa displays much Georgian and Victorian architecture and therefore has a rather grandiose appearance. Due to population expansion, Leamington has seemingly blurred its boundaries with Warwick.
