On a quiet, secluded, private development on the edge of the village of Kokkino Chorio, Ilios house is ideal for couples looking for peace and relaxation. There are lovely sea views from the 1st floor balcony, a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun during the day or enjoy a sundowner at dusk. There is a traditional taverna in the village as well as a small shop where you can find everything for your everyday needs including fresh bread.

The buzzing village of Plaka where you will find a small selection of tavernas and bars and a well stocked shop is approx 25 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive. The lovely sandy beach at Almirida is approx 35 mins walk or 5 mins drive.

The bedroom at Ilios House is air-conditioned and has french doors opening up directly onto the first floor balcony. The bed is extremely comfortable having a Silentnight memory foam mattress. Good quality cotton bed linen is supplied. There is plenty of hanging and drawer storage space and a hairdryer is provided.

The kitchen is comprehensively equipped to make self catering easy.

The covered ground floor terrace is furnished with a large dining table and 4 chairs and there is another small dining table and 2 chairs inside the house.

The comfortable lounge area has a rattan sofa and chair. A satellite TV (not SKY but BBC radio stations and Sky news can be tuned), DVD and CD players are provided for your entertainment together with a selection of DVD's, CD's and books.

The modern, fully tiled shower room with shower, wash basin and wc is on the ground floor.

The private balcony (1st floor) and covered terrace (ground floor) are both fully furnished with tables, chairs and sun loungers for sunbathing, al fresco dining and watching the sun go down.

There is access to a pool and gardens which are shared by a total of 8 houses allowing you to be as sociable or as private as you wish. Ilios House overlooks the pool with doors leading directly on to the pool terrace.

Ilios House is registered with and licensed for holiday rentals by the Greek Tourist Authorities (EOT) -

Ilios House is normally rented by the week, from Tuesday to Tuesday to fit in with the majority of flights from the UK to both Chania and Heraklion airports. Some flexibility in arrival/departure days is possible (depending on other bookings).

Prices quoted are in gbp sterling, per week for the property and are not per person.

Prices include air- conditioning, all linen except for beach and pool towels, weekly maid service and linen change and a welcome pack. There are NO hidden extras.

NB - breakages deposit - we take credit or debit card details and retain them as the damage deposit until after your return from holiday. If there are charges to be recovered we will contact you before charging your card.

We will confirm the availability and send you a booking form; at the same time we will put the villa on hold for you for 48 hours to give you time to book your flights and complete the booking formalities. Almirida and Kalives are situated in the Apokoronas region to the east of Chania which is where most of our holiday villas are. Apokoronas is one of the most picturesque areas of the province of Chania with attractive villages dotted all around. The main village of the region is Vamos where you will find full facilities including a 24 hour health centre.
