This lodge is on a prime uninterrupted front row site! Set on the coastline close to the fishing village of Greencastle on the Inishowen Peninsula of Donegal this is an idyllic spot for relaxing and enjoying oneself by the sea - an ideal retreat for families or couples alike! Greencastle Cove is a 3min walk from Nellie's Beach across the road and only minutes in the car from many more of Inishowen's magnificent beach. There are many quaint pubs/restaurants nearby. There is a tennis court, basket ball court and 2 children's play park areas - all extremely safe due to the development being gated. With the surrounding countryside & many beaches this is a great area for those who love to walk, cycle, surf, sail or golf (Greencastle 18 hole links golf course is just minutes walk from the lodge). But more than anything it is just perfect for chilling out and having fun. Fully fitted with all modern amenities, this lodge comprises of 4 star comfort (as approved by The Irish Tourist Board)

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed, bedside table and lamp and built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 with bunk beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 with single bed and built-in wardrobe.
Bathrooms: En-suite shower-room to bedroom 1 with shower, wc & sink
Bathroom with bath, wc and sink.
Kitchen: Modern fully-fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Utility Room: Washing machine in kitchen but there is a tumble dryer in a laundry room in the main entrance building to the park.
Living Rooms: Open-plan living area with leather L-shaped setee and matching recliner armchair. Coffee table, 32" flatscreen TV with satellite and DVD player.
Other: Dining table and chairs in open-plan living area. Table and chairs outside on the decking for BBQs and eating al fresco. Hairdryers provided in bedroom 1 and 2. Iron and ironing board.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Linen and towels included in all rentals.

Notes on accommodation
Extremely safe environment for children. With this lodge being on the front row it is a prime site for families as the children have one of the play parks directly infront of the lodge and a large grassed enclosed area for playing, running around, playing bal, picnicing etc. and all in view from the lodge! As you sit on the deck you look over greenery and the mountains across the lough in the distance!

Accessibility
There is no wheelchair ramp but there is only one step ever needed to get up on to the deck and then everything is on one level indoors. The deck also has a small gate to keep small children or pets from wandering!

Outside
There is an expanse of garden at the front of the lawn for sitting on or for children to play on. This is just infront of the decked veranda so is ideal if you wish to sit on the deck and keep an eye on the children! There is a gas BBQ on the deck and deck furniture & parasol.

Booking notes
50% (negotiable) deposit to confirm booking and balance 4 weeks before date of arrival. Rental charges include all gas and electricity.

Notes on prices
The prices listed are for 7 nights but we are happy to negotiate rates for shorter stays and weekends.

Changeover day
Preferably a Friday or Saturday for weekly rentals but this is flexible.

Sweet Nellies Beach is a 3 min walk across the road from Greencastle Cove.
Stroove beach is about a 15 min walk or 3 mins in the car.
Kinnego Bay is a breathtaking stretch of beach about a 10/15 min drive away & ideal for surfers or body-boarders due to the great surf.
Culdaff Beach is approx a 10/15 min drive and very safe.

Golf
There is an 18 hole links golf course (Greencastle Golf Course) just minutes walk from the lodge.

Travel
Greencastle Cove is 1 1/2 hrs drive from Belfast Int Airport and Belfast City Airport and Belfast Docks. It is 1/2 an hrs drive from the city of Londonderry & Londonderry Airport.

Distances
Greencastle village is 1 mile away. The town of Moville is 4 miles away and the city of Londonderry is 20 miles away.

Further details
The Carlton Redcastle Hotel just 10 minutes drive on the far side of Moville has a beautiful swimming pool and spa that is open to the public. There is a great Kayak club (Just Kayak) on the waters edge in Moville for children and adults alike with not just kayaking but all sorts of orienteering pursuits aswell. There is an equestrian centre on the outskirts of Moville which has pony trekking days aswell as indoor activity days.
