Fantastic for bird life, nature, butterflies, wild flowers, shooting stars yet only 70 mins from Siena and Montepulciano, 50 mins Montalcino and Pienza, Pitigliano and the Etruscan valley are 45 mins and Lake Bolsena a little further, and 2.5 hours from Rome, Florence, Pisa. You can get to almost anywhere and yet come home to peace and the song of nightingales and stone curlews.
