Villa Collecimino is a spacious holiday property, which can be rented as a whole villa or as 3 separate apartments, located in 3.5 acres of orchards, olive groves and agricultural land, in the hamlet of San Giorgio on top of Collecimino hill 550 metres above sea-level, with stunning panoramic views of Abruzzo's Gran Sasso and Maiella mountain ranges, and, to the north-east, the Adriatic Sea.
Apartment 3 (ideal for a romantic break) occupies the ground floor annex (approx. 86 sq.m) of the villa and is completely self-contained with its own private external entrance and patio area. Consisting of a large bedroom (with double/twin beds) large living room/kitchen with patio with spectacular mountain views; shower room, sleeping 2 persons (+ 2 on comfortable sofa beds in the living room, if required). There are also mountain views from every window inside the apartment. (Access to this apartment is via a stone staircase on one side or at ground floor level on the other side). Guests are also welcome to use the garden and grounds surrounding the property, and, of course, the Scandinavian Plunge Pool.
It is 3 minutes' walk from a small supermarket and bar, 5 minutes' walk from an 'agriturismo' offering delicious meals from home-grown produce, 10 minutes' drive from the village of Cesi, which has a large supermarket, a pizzeria and a bar and a short drive from many other restaurants and two medieval hilltop towns.
Each apartment has balconies/terraces big enough for dining/relaxing/sunbathing or for just enjoying the beautiful views of Abruzzo. We are ideally placed for both the Adriatic coast and the mountains, being only 30 minutes' drive from each.
