Behind the Tower is a vacation rental which combine the warm atmosphere of an Italian home with all the comforts of a hotel. It is made up of three rooms and can comfortably accommodate 4 people: a kitchen with sofabed, a large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower cabinet. It has central heating for the winter months and air conditioning for the summer months.
The apartment is well equipped with all our guests need to prepare their meals, including electric oven, microwave oven, gas stove and basic kitchen supplies (sugar, salt, olive oil and vinegar, etc.). Laundry facilities, internet access, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, linens and towels are also provided.
The holiday apartment can be easily reached by car or by public transportation both from the airport and the train station, which makes of this rental in Tuscany the perfect destination for a city break in Italy.

Behind the Tower is in the center of the city. It is opposite the city walls and from the bedroom window you can actually see the roof of the cathedral and of the baptistery.
Pisa is famous worldwide for the beautiful monuments in the Field of Miracles, the best known of which is the Leaning Tower, one of the 7 wonders of the world, which has become the symbol of the city. But there is much more than just the Leaning Tower: beautiful squares and ancient alleys, gardens, the river banks with their bars and restaurants.
Besides being a beautiful city to explore and enjoy slowly, Pisa is also an excellent base to explore Northern Tuscany. Pisa's "Galileo Galilei" airport offers a large number of international and national flights operated by national airlines and low-cost airlines, which allow tourists to fly to Pisa at very reasonable prices.
Pisa has a very conveniently located railway station which is a crucial stop along the Tyrrhenic coastal railway line and which offers very easy access to beautiful cities, like Florence and Lucca.
For these reasons, a car is not absolutely necessary. However, if you come by car or decide to rent one, Pisa is an excellent base to explore western, northern and central Tuscany.
