A private driveway leads up to the splendid villa, a 5 century old property. There are lovely gardens including a beautiful formal Italian garden of perfectly manicured lawns and hedges and an interestingly shaped swimming pool spanned by a bridge.

Guets will also enjoy the furnished outdoor areas, the perfect place to enjoy meals, which you can also prepare outdoors, on the barbecue or with the authentic wood-burning pizza oven.

The position of this splendid villa is strategic for visiting all the unmissable landmarks of the region- Florence for example is just 45km away. Sports enthusiasts have a tennis court and riding centre nearby and a golf course 20km away.

There is plenty of parking at your disposition on site.


Interior

This villa is laid out over 3 floors and is about 900 m2. As you enter you are welcomed by a large living room with a fireplace. There are also 2 lounges, a dining room and a fully fitted kitchen with oven, two dishwashers and freezer, ideal for catering for large groups or for special events. On the same level there are two bathrooms.

The stairs leading to the first floor take you to a sitting room which accesses a double bedroom with its own bathroom equipped with shower. All the bedrooms conveniently have their own en suite. There is also a twin bedroom with its bathroom fitted with a Jacuzzi bath and shower and three twin bedrooms and finally another double whose spiral staircase leads to a twin room.

There are yet more bedrooms on the second level- three double bedrooms and a twin bedroom and another sitting room.

The whole villa is finely decorated with antique furnishings and elaborate tapestries to give a grand but welcoming ambiance.

Steps away from the main villa is an annex where guests can enjoy a game in the billiards room or unwind in its two lounges sporting hunting trophies and comfortable furniture.
As mentioned the villa can accommodate up to 22 guests in its 11 bedrooms but for a reduced rate the villa can also be rented excluding the second floor, hence for 14 or up to 16.

Although ancient and traditionally decorated the villa is not lacking in modern facilities. It has all you could need for a more than comfortable stay including telephone, satellite television, individually-controlled heating and washing machine. Guests might also like to really embrace their holiday and hire a cook who will share the culinary delights of the land.
