The main road to reach all landmarks of cultural and historical interest is just a stone´s throw away, affording easy access to Florence 30 km away and Siena 40 km away.
Sports lovers can keep active playing on the tennis courts or taking a vigorous swim in the swimming pool in the villa´s grounds.The Chianti region is, of course, famed for its wine and on site in the vaulted wine cellars, or further afield, wine and local speciality tasting can easily be organized for you. Other excellent ways to soak up Tuscany´s special environment are a visit to the Thermal baths, going to watch the Palio di Siena horse race or even joining a cycling tour.
The villa itself is a haven of tranquility ideal for a restorative break. The silence is only interrupted by the sound of the breeze or the birds.
Parking in the shade of the cypress trees is at guests´ disposition.
Interior
The main building is divided over two floors and can host 13 guests. The ground floor features a spacious hall, comfortable living room, dining room, guest cloakroom, "the parlour" originally used for afternoon tea, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills, and a traditional but fully-equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are two further living rooms opening onto six double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and one single bedroom with a shower room. The splendid façade welcomes guests to the villa where inside they will find the charm and sophistication of ancient aristocratic times.
The main villa can be rented individually, providing space for 13 guests, or alternatively combined with the 2 apartments on the second floor, Solaio and Bellina, to increase the accommodating capacity to 23. The independent apartments, Casina for 2,Togna for 4, Chiara farmhouse for up to 6, separately or combined with the main villa, provide different solutions for a maximum of 35 guests. The apartments and separate farmhouse are particularly useful for large groups, enabling to accommodate more guests. These are also charmingly decorated in a traditional style and are fitted with all amenities.
The decor has been carefully planned to create a dignified but welcoming atmosphere. Beautifully restored Tuscan furniture, delightful frescoes, artwork, and grand authentic fireplaces harmoniously combine with modern features and facilities to great effect.
A celebratory occasion such as a wedding held at this villa would be a truly special one. Reception banquets for up to 150 people are organized in the gardens or in the large halls and the neo-Renaissance chapel just steps away from the villa is a delightful place for the marriage ceremony itself.
Professional events: conventions, meetings or courses can also be organized on site with all the modern technology you could require, and many or all of the participants can conveniently be hosted at the villa.
