The Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida is a protected area due to its high value at biodiversity. For this reason, the park is currently being proposed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you'll find a magnificent natural environment to discover, either by car, trekking or cycling. At the slope of the mountain, you'll find lovely small beaches of fine sand, no waves and no wind, where you can also do canoeing, pedal-boat, diving, sailing and, of course, relaxing! The beaches of Figueirinha, Creiro or Galapos can be reached by a 10 min. driving; the friendly City of Setúbal stays at 5km and offers a wide range of high quality seafood and fish restaurants and, of course, the world famous Moscatel Wine; the charming Village of Azeitão stays at 10km and offers you the best of its gastronomy: the "Torta de Azeitão" (kind of a cake) and the Azeitão cheese. At 20km driving, you'll find the picturesque fishing Village of Sesimbra. Lisbon stays at 30km.
