BUENOS AIRIES, ARGENTINA

ARGENTINIA
The South American scene is set within the boundaries of the majestic Andes Mountains and the expanse Atlantic Ocean with Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile bordering Argentina and its widely varying yet generally temperate climate.

Abundant with jungles, rivers, lakes, seas and many enclave featuring coastal areas as well as a variety of exotic flora and fauna, the home of tango truly is auspicious. And as for the native folk, well, they’re just laid back, lax and friendly.

ARGENTINA – AN OVERVIEW
This is one Latin American country where Europeans and North Americans can feel at ease and travel relatively inconspicuously.

Second in South America only to Brazil in size and population, Argentina is a plain, rising from the Atlantic to the Chilean border and the towering Andes peaks. Aconcagua (22,834ft, 6,960m) is the highest peak in the world outside Asia. Argentina is also bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay on the north, and by Uruguay and Brazil on the east. The northern area is the swampy and partly wooded Gran Chaco, bordering on Bolivia and Paraguay. South of that are the rolling, fertile Pampas, which are rich in agriculture and sheep- and cattle-grazing and support most of the population.

Next southward is Patagonia, a region of cool, arid steppes with some wooded and fertile sections.
Argentina has the highest Human Development Index level and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in purchasing power parity in Latin America. The country is currently classified as an Upper-Middle Income Country by the World Bank, or as a secondary emerging market. Argentina’s nominal GDP is the 31st largest economy in the world.[7]

BUENOS AIRES – THE LOCAL AREA
There are a few surprising echoes of Paris and Milan in the architecture, making Buenos Aires unique from its sister cities in South America. Everything is amazingly affordable from high-end hotels and restaurants to quality leather and silver.

Buenos Aires is a city that truly never sleeps. With the dinner hour just beginning at 9 pm, night clubs open all night, and a thriving theatre scene, you won’t ever run out of things to do. It’s a city of forty eight distinguishing barrios. San Telmo, characterized as an artist’s colony where the tango is mostly identified, is one of the most visited barrios. Restaurants are plentiful in the fashionable Puerto Madero, a string of fine eateries are housed in renovated riverside docks with outdoor seating. You’ll find some of the best pampas grass-fed beef at Cabana Las Lilas where it’s most celebrated.

Buenos Aires is a great walking city. There is no need to rent a car. Metered taxis will take you anywhere in the city. “Radio Taxis” can be seen all over and in great numbers. The alternative is to hire a remise, a private taxi. They are not metered and charge an agreed upon rate. Hiring a remise from the “Ezeiza” Airport to the city, about a forty minute drive, is generally 48 pesos or $16.00. For an average of seven pesos, a taxi will take you to any of the distinctive barrios where you can expThe internationally known Cementerio de la Recoleta is a miniature city of decadent marble mausoleums and also the resting place of Argentina’s tycoons and many of its first presidents. Ask a caretaker, and you can find Evita’s too.

Only an hour away by hydrofoil across the Rio de la Plata is the charming town of Colonia, Uruguay. All of the sights are within the colonial historic barrio where you’ll find many shops selling local artisan’s wares. Todo Uruguay, sells everything from ceramics to mates, the traditional South American tea served in a carved out gourd. For the best workout, climb the 118 stairs up the Faro de Colonia, a 19th century lighthouse. On a clear day Buenos Aires can
be seen in the distance.lore on foot.

Description of Location

The Project is located in the heart of area known as Palermo Hollywood. It’s just a few streets away from the popular central “Avenida Santa Fe” from which all types of public transport can be accessed (Metro, Buses, etc). Like Manhattan’s Lower East Side, which took off as property prices soared in the neighbouring NoLita (North Little Italy), Palermo Viejo has spawned Palermo Hollywood and Soho, which lie west and east of Juan B. Justo respectively.
All of the posh neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires’ grew during Argentina’s boom years of the ‘90s, but Palermo Hollywood and Soho really came into their own after the 2001 economic boom. At this time, Buenos Aires began to rival Madrid and Toronto as a low-cost movie location. Indeed, “Palermo Hollywood” got its name from the many film
and television studios that set up shop there.

About 180,000 people, or roughly 6 percent of the three million residents living within Buenos Aires’ city limits, now live in those three areas, which total 170 hectares, or about 420 acres. All three sections, but particularly in Palermo Viejo, hip new boutiques, bars, bed and breakfasts, sidewalk cafes and clubs pop up constantly. Even El Taller, still a fixture in Palermo Viejo, has been transformed into a small art house, tango dance venue and art gallery. Expatriates have a big presence in the area. North Americans, followed by Europeans, are snapping up the majority of bargains.

Therefore, it is up to the Building Site Administration and/or The Ownership to carry out all the changes that are deemed necessary, not only as regards material replacement but also changes in the location of common areas, all this within the notion of improvement of the final product to be delivered.
