This delightful (no bedroomed) house would ideally suit the outdoor type. As you will see from the photo, unlike many other offers, this property has no problem with the roof, there are no windows to paint, and security might be your only concern.
In brief, we could describe the dwelling as being an eco-house. This being due to it being constructed of mud-brick. Some wise investors out there might even decide to purchase this property merely for the materials alone. If dismantled carefully the bricks could be easily re-sited. Then, if left out in the rain long enough, you have yourself a vegatable patch!

Do you know the good regions in Bulgaria? Moreover, do you know the bad ones? Will you be given all the facts regarding the legal process? 95% of rural properties in Bulgaria require renovation. Who will you instruct to do this? Generally you can't trust a UK builder once your back is turned, so what makes you think its any different in Bulgaria?
We have no desire to scare you here. What the words above are aimed at doing, is to try to have you avoid many of the pitfalls I personally have witnessed people fall foul of.
Here are just a few final points for you to consider.
When buying in the UK, simply choose a property. When buying in Bulgaria, you need to choose an agent first! There is every chance that you would need to have ties with the agent for possibly years to come. This being for ongoing support, translation, payment of utility bills/council taxes etc. If they are like us and have a construction arm to the company, you might well be needing this service too! However, unlike the UK, there is no regulation to cover the practice of agents in Bulgaria. I cut my teeth almost 25 years ago as a UK agent, and was fully aware of the guidelines. I now own and operate 'Select Properties Bulgaria' and have applied much of that criteria which you would be expecting to find here.
The advice given via telephone or consultation is free. Our viewing trips are loss making for us, this is just so that we can ensure you receive the very best service.
