The XVth century Chateau Des Rivettes is high in the history of Anjou. The king Rene of Anjou and his wife Jeanne De Laval made the chateau their residence, along with Marie De Medicis, and Francois 1st.
The property today dominates a peaceful residential area, having commercial trades, businesses, and services in close proximity. It is, moreover situated less than ten minutes from Angers town centre and from the T.G.V. station (one and a half hours from Paris/Montparnasse).

The floors are dressed with traditional terracotta tiles laid in traditional fashion, on the ground floor, and oak parquet for the upstairs floors.
All the rooms on the ground floor and first floor each boast an immense fire place of the period in tuffeau stone, and magnificent visible oak beams.
