A rural cluster of 87 new luxurious houses, designed according to the traditional Pelion architecture. The complex occupies a total area of 12,600 m², of which only 3,653 m² are covered by the buildings and it is spread over a steep hill which allows unlimited views to the sea for all properties.
One main street, 4 meters wide, starts from the lowest point, where the gatehouse with the stop-bar is placed, and runs through the whole complex, providing access to each one of the properties and to the underground parking space of each house.
The houses are placed in different hypsometrical levels, so as to benefit of the natural inclination of the ground and assure the maximum possible view for each villa.
The properties are now offered for sale at the off-plan stage. Construction work will start in summer 2007 and the properties will be completed in 2009.
Accommodation
There are 9 main types of houses but many variations are created, depended on the existence (or not) of an in-house heated pool area in the basement, and of a second level or attic.
Property sizes start from an area of 71 m² (2 bedrooms) and reaching up to 188 m² for the larger villas.
Specifications
- The houses have been designed according to the traditional architecture of Pelion concerning doors and windows, the beetling bulges of the first floor and the roofs covered with local stone, while a higher grade of the same material is used for the covering of various surfaces and the supporting walls.
- Every house has a skeleton of armed concrete, supplemented by double masonry, where the space between is filled with 5 cm thick heat insulation.
- All houses are supplied with an individual heating system, one or two built fireplaces, one or more sitting rooms and split air-conditioning.
- They will also have wooden doorways and windows, while decorative wooden elements will be added in selected spots both inside and outside the villas.
- Each villa, as mentioned above, will have a private underground parking space, underneath the courtyard, accessed via the main street.
- Finally, each house will be equipped with an alarm system, intranet, Jacuzzi, Italian kitchen furniture, Italian tiles, armored security door and an intercom system for internal communication with the rest of the villas, as well as with a gatehouse and security personnel.
