Flamingo Lakes is located in a virtually undiscovered part of the Yucatan peninsula just a couple of miles inland from the Emerald Coast and half an hour from the beautiful colonial city of Merida.
The single storey Tulum design offers compact but spacious accommodation and features two double bedrooms each with full en suite facilities. The Master suite has the benefit of direct access on to the terrace and pool deck.A large open plan lounge and dining room provides for comfortable living space whilst the fully equipped kitchen boasts both a laundry area and a utility room. There is a cloakroom adjacent to the entrance foyer and externally a two vehicle garage.
Additionally, the Resort offers a comprehensive range of sporting and leisure facilities including tennis, a health, fitness and spa complex and restaurant, bar and shopping amenities.
On the coast the exclusive Beach Clubhouse and the Media Luna Marina provide everything required for a fun day at the beach or on the water.
The Resort covers some 2200 acres. Additionally 840 acres have been set aside for a private Nature Reserve. It will be a self-contained community, the size of a small town but with the feeling of a village.
The villas and condominiums will be constructed around the 27 holes of golf (an 18 hole Championship course in excess of 7000 yards and a 9 hole Executive course) and will be complemented by a village square, shops, medical facilities, church, guest lodge and a host of other leisure and recreational facilities.
The Resort has its own exclusive Beach Club a short drive away with direct access on to the white sand beach whilst a couple of miles away in the other direction lies the Resort’s own Media Luna Marina with its fleet of boats available for Flamingo Lakes’ owners.
From Cancun International Airport, Merida is only a short hop away with several daily flights. Merida is just over three hours drive on a well-constructed highway. Cancun receives direct budget flights from numerous USA, Canadian and European cities.
Flamingo Lakes is situated just a few miles inland from the coast close to the small town of Dzemul, a typical Mexican settlement with a few local shops, businesses, cantinas and a town square.
To the north of the Resort, beyond the shallow salt lakes, home to thousands of flamingo in season, mile upon mile of virgin white sandy beaches stretch into the warm emerald waters of the Gulf.

These facilities will be for the exclusive use of members, however, guests introduced by members and Lodge patrons may be permitted to use the facilities on a daily fee basis.
The Resort has its own private nature park covering over 840 acres of land. This is ideal for walks, bird watching, cycling, horse riding and just quiet enjoyment.
