We are proud to offer this complex of just 27 lavish spa villas tucked away on Coche Island. These 27 spa villas are built amongst the tropical vegetation.
All villas include one master bedroom complete with wardrobes, two luxurious bathrooms, spacious living accommodation, kitchen and storage area complete with a built in bed. Externally there is a spacious airy veranda complete with a personal running seawater pool and Jacuzzi.
The whole concept of Isla Coche Spa Resort is to allow guests the opportunity to discover true peace, tranquillity and rejuvenation whilist being spoilt in the confort of your own luxurious Spa Villa and unwind in a Caribbean paradise.
The main pool is the centre of the complex, surrounded by sun terraces, lush tropical gardens and reserved shadow churuatas. There is a cafe resturants and an-in pool bar.
Every Spa Villa is complete with air conditioning in addition each Spa villa's uniquw elegant interior provides a sense of pure harmony with well designed areas allowing for private spa treatments.
THE CONCEPT
The whole concept of a wellness village is to allow proprietors and guests the possibility of reconstitution of positive energy, and the time and space necessary to work out their stress related anomalies (headaches, backaches, digestive disorder, etc). THE SETTING
The island of Coche, and specially the salt bed area are natural scenarios full of contemplation, where the healthy wind, salt mud and sea water baths increment well being consciousness harmonizing disorder through preventive methods.
MEDICAL EVALUATION
Personalized nourishment of each individual, starting with a medical evaluation – Ayurvedic - will allow the physician to analyze the individual constitution and select therapy to correct mild and severe anomalies.

THE THEME
We have selected a millenary theme, a village design as the natural environment of the beginning of man, a mixed fusion of aborigine settings (Caribbean, Amazon, African, Balinese, Hawaiian …) built on noble natural materials brought fresh from the Amazon and constructed by the “Piaroa” tribe on site, with mild comfort modifications.
GOOD FORTUNE
The first icon is a ritualistic “Piaroa churuata”, an antenna of positive energy, shaped in a way as to attract all good luck and fortune.
FIRST EXPERIENCE
As soon as the visitor reaches this stage there will be the first encounter with wind, water and wood. There is a short seawater walk to refresh the visitors’ feet leaving all traces of the business environment. The visitor can wear comfortable fresh robes and clothes provided at this point and a fresh made flower garland to welcome the experience. Different colors and apparels are design for different built sets, all allergy free materials.
BOARDWALK
As soon as the visitor walks out of the good fortune “churuata” will encounter a boardwalk of “Corazon Verde del Amazonas” green heartwood from the Amazon, long lasting wood pier above the salt bed setting with ski mirror pools of seawater, luscious oasis of palms, and refreshing site scenery, each villa is a separate ring shaped island.
THE LOBBY
The Lobby is a large building entering to the right, fresh sound of water fountains, a tall breaded ceiling of “yerba luisa” silver haired Amazon fiber and sea coral tiles decorate the main area. Customized palm designing rugs and bamboo furniture add a natural luxury to the reception and the fruit bar welcomes guests with a refreshing cocktail. A communication center is also available and wireless internet access.
THE VILLAS
There are 28 SPA Villas. Each villa has 60 mts2, includes one master bedroom with closets, one main bathroom, one extra bathroom, kitchenette, pantry area with a convertible bed and a terrace with a personal running seawater pool and Jacuzzi, one sweet water open roof shower and sun tanning personal area. Each villa has air conditioning. In addition, each Villa’s unique decoration brings good taste and comfort, and accommodating areas for private SPA therapies.
THE SPA
The spa facilities have different therapy areas, sauna, steam bath, thalasso showers and pool, mud therapy; massage area, Yoga and Pilates, Gymnasium, beauty and esthetics center, amenities store, restaurant and consultation area.
THE MAIN POOL
The main pool is the center of the complex, surrounded by sun tanning areas, sweet water showers and reserved shadow “churuatas”. There is a café restaurant and an in pool bar.
AMPHITHEATRE
The conch-designed open roof amphitheatre will bring night entertainment to the guest and visitors, bringing jazz, reggae, and assorted music and cultural delights. It will also serve for wedding receptions and seminars, serving area and restrooms available.
THE MATERIALS
“Yerba Luisa” is a tree fiber only found in the Alto Orinoco river, cultivated and harvested only by a handful of Piaroa tribesmen, it was used in the early 19th century for boating ropes due to its amazing strength and durability, is water proof and resinous, repels all insects and animals. It was substitute when nylon appeared. Moreover, has served the roofing purpose for centuries among the different Orinoco Tribes. It has a beautiful grayish silver color that changes with the sun reflection. Yerba luisa fiber can only be harvested and transported once a year due to floods and currents.
