The master bedroom 6m(19 feet) by 6m(19 feet) has a range of spacious, fully fitted wardrobes and free standing furniture, a vanity unit topped with white granite, concealed door to bathroom, two panel windows to side and large Italian design patio door leading to large decked area. There are also telephone and satellite points, control station for concealed sound system with bathroom slave speaker. Large loft storage area.

Within the living area is a Laudel wood burning stove with triple aspect glass door complemented by oil fired central heating throughout the villa. The Apartments

The holiday season for Skiathos property extends from May 1st through until around October 20th. The apartments, when rented separately to the villa, can realise between 7,000 - 10,000 Euros per season, fully let, and the villa can be let for between 100 - 200 Euros per night.

Underneath the apartments and easily accessible from the house is a utility room, 2.5m (8.25feet) by 10m (32 feet). This currently contains a DeLonghi top loading washing machine, a Bosch tumble drier and a large Bosch freezer with ample room for storage. The temperature in this room is stable all year round and it is usable as a large wine cellar.

The Location

There are supermarkets, shops and restaurants at Aghia Paraskevi - 20 minutes level walk away, a supermarket on the way there, about 10 minutes and in Kolios (a 15 minute walk) are restaurants and a supermarket. Five minutes drive away, are the beaches of Kolios and Aghia Pareskevi.

Skiathos is a small, lush island in the northern Aegean Sporades islands and is visited by many large luxury yachts. Property is popular with British expatriates and has a growing year round community of around 200. The area of Platanias is a quiet unspoilt valley within five minutes drive of the quality tavernas and beaches at Agia Pareskevi and Kolios.

During the summer months the area is visited by Greek, Italian and British tourists who come in search of privacy and tranquillity. The valley is one of the last places in Greece where wild nightingales can be heard and is home to a variety of wildlife which can be seen and heard most days including Hares, Pheasants, Hawks, Buzzards and wild Tortoises.

The house is 150 metres from the nearest very quiet road. The nearest neighbour is over 200 metres away and very little outside noise is ever heard.

Serviced by its own bore hole, the water pumped to the property is of drinking quality, the apartments have a solar panel whilst the villa is provided with heating and hot water by its one year old Hansa oil fired boiler.
