Cefalu

Madonie Park
Cefalu’ borders with the National Park Madonie. It is an internationally renowned nature reserve famous for its variety of plants and animals – for example, about 70 species of butterflies live in the area. The park covers approximately 400 sq km and is largely covered by forest. It is very popular with and hikers, cyclists and campers.
