Villa in the countryside
Today we are going to visit a beautiful estate of about 3 hectares in the countryside of Ostuni, between the white city and the seaside cove of Gorgognolo. An area bordered by ancient dry-stone walls, with over 70 centuries-old olive trees, with a wonderful story to tell, and another 300 planted more recently. But not only olive trees, we are greeted by a riot of plants typical of this wonderful area, prickly pears, mulberries, apricots, plums, figs and almonds that offer indescribable scents and colours. How many of us have dreamed of retiring to the countryside to devote ourselves to tending the land and why not to an agritourism activity that allows us to live in serenity, following the rhythms of nature.
