This custom designed, country-style home is for sale It is located in a lovely and peaceful wine-growing area at the Kis-Balaton (Lesser Balaton), but only seven minutes from the thermal baths of Zalakaros, or twenty minutes from Heviz, the world's largest biologically active thermal lake; 20 min. from Keszthely at Lake Balaton. The property consists of two units: a small efficiency apartment is attached to the main building; it served as the housekeeper's apartment. (If needed this can be enlarged.) There is an attached garage with remote control door,. The garden was designed for easy maintenance and there is a dipping pool to be used after the sauna session.
The house, although in the center of village near church, post office, bar, school, bus station, doctor's office,is effectively shielded from the outside, partially because of its U shaped design and partially by the thick greenery around it. The property is surrounded by a wrought iron fence and there is a well in the garden. City water and gas are connected, taxes are very low.
There are two cellars on the property (formerly wine cellars), the attic area can be built into more living space. .
The living area, kitchen and one bedroom have eastern , the rest of the rooms southwestern exposures. The floor pattern was carefully designed: the living (loud) area is separated by a wide hallway from the bedroom and study area (quiet area). One bedroom, used as guestroom, is separated from the rest of the rooms by one of the winter gardens.(It has its own full bathroom and a kitchenette.
It is a quality home, roomy, safe, convenient, ideal for a cozy home, but as prices are rising, it is also excellent for investing.
