Apartment on Italian Riviera

Neat and easily maintained apartment in a small complex of only 8 apartments. The apartment is on the first floor and gets the sun all day.

The property consists of : a good sized open plan kitchen and dining area leading into bright, sunny lounge. A small hall gives onto a storeroom, large bathroom and spacious bedroom. The garage is under the house, and there is extra outdoor parking.

There is ample space to add another 2 rooms and still have a large, approx 50 m sq, outdoor area. This originally had another bedroom which was removed to enlarge lounge but is easily put back.

There is a small communal garden full of olive trees.

Location
About 5-6 km from the Riviera with many beaches to choose from. Nearest local amenities are in Casarza Ligure; doctor and hospital and within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants etc.

Located on a hillside which provides a cooling breeze in the hot summer months and protection from chilly winds in winter. The house gets the sun all day and moon rise in the evenings.

Near Sestri Levante, a town on a peninsula with 2 wonderful beaches, including Portobello. Sestri Levante is across the bay from Portofino and up the coast from the Cinque Terre and offers a regular train service.

Very accessible: Near motorway and train station and approx.1 hour from both Pisa and Genoa airports.

Vendors selling to move abroad and will leave furniture, (including sofa bed for guests), linen, crockery, white goods etc if desired - even the car, (Ford Escort Estate).

It should be noted that few houses in this area have a garages and they really are at a premium. The garage alone is worth around 25,000 Euros.
