It is a 5 minute drive to both Villa Petto (for the supermarket), 7-minutes to Colledara (bank) and 5-minutes to Tossicia. The village benefits from the bakery van that arrives in the village at 10.00 daily except Sundays (Saturdays, in addition it sells the little Italian cakes that we love to have on the weekends), as well as a Fishman, who arrives every Friday at 11.00 (imagine a Tonibell van selling the freshest of fish and shellfish from the coast) and a local Cheese and dairy man that arrives on Fridays at 11.30 with the most exceptional homemade cheeses. It is approximately 30km to the sea from Bascianella. The location of the villa ensures that the lounge faces out onto the panorama of the Gran Sasso mountain range which is quite breathtaking and an enviable place to take your morning coffee and gather your scattered witts.
