Torre de la Horadada is one of the prettiest of the southern coastal resorts on the Costa Blanca, with its attractive coastline and seafront walks , it is named in honour of the Medieval tower that overlooks the beach of Playa del Conde and the adjacent marina. Playa del Conde is one of six beaches along the shoreline in Torre de la Horadada , with playa Jesuitas , playa Roca mar , playa de Puerto , playa de las Villas , and the largest beach Las Higuericas. All of the beaches are fine sand with clear waters making them perfect for families with children, they have also all been given a blue flag accreditation for cleanliness . Each beach has a lifeguard station and many of them have chiringuitos (beach bars). Enthusiasts can enjoy diving and snorkeling along Torre’s shores full of sea life. Torre de la Horadada is a foodie’s dream-come-true offering an array of restaurants , bistros , cafeterias and ice cream parlours for which it is famous. The most popular being the Galan parlour that is elevated overlooking the beautiful marina. There in the marina you will find an excellent fine dining restaurant where they will cook you the fish of your choice speared on an ‘Especto’ over a hot fire in an old wooden fishing boat. You will also find in the marina boat schools and jet ski and boat hire facilities , if you want to learn to sail you can attend the sailing courses organized by the Yacht club Torre Horadada.
