Plenty to do in the area with the lakes of Orfü 10 km away, then Abaliget (5 km) where you can visit the caves and from Bakóca you can reach Magyarhertelend in 10 km where you will find a beautiful thermal bath. Also water fun in Kovácsszénája (9 km) where you will find a beach.
Bakóca is a very green village. It is located in a stream valley, with a castle, a church worth seeing and a pottery museum. Bakóca is not far from the museum village of Kán.
The larger towns of Kaposvár and Pécs can be reached in reasonable times.
