The buildings
The farmhouse has, like any building over this type, developed over time. The oldest part was build in stone and sits on the valley-side. One of the ancient storage spaces showcases a barrel vaulted ceiling. The tall part facing the valley features embrasures that were once used for defence purposes. The ground floor spaces were used as stables and the first floor harboured the living quarters. The more recent additional was built in concrete and had the same setup.
