The buildings
The main building was the most important one in the time when the property was still just a farm. It's shape and architectural characteristics are clearly those of a so-called casa padronale. It is italy's most famous pilgrimage city and good for about 2 million visitors each year. Though that may sound crowded the area is as quiet and serene as can be. Nature rules, little villages are littered across the countryside.
Many other fascinating cities are nearby. The bustling student town Perugia, host of the Umbria Jazz Festival lies at 40 km distance. The international airport is even closer at 21 km. Also nearby are the picturesque towns Spello 20 km, lovely Trevi 37 km and Spoleto 53 km renowned for the International Music Festival. Vineyards are present in abundance in the Bevagna and Montefalco area.
