EXCLUSIVE TO BEAUX VILLAGES! Nestled by the river, this charming ancient stone house is totally unique. Built in 1609 as a flour mill, it has its own island and a sluice gate controls the river alongside the house to prevent flooding.
Many original features remain inside, and the workings of the mill could be restored as some are still onsite.
The main house is heated by a wood-burning stove and some electric underfloor heating. There is also an open fireplace in the living room. All the living accommodations are above useful stone storage rooms and can be accessed by the full-length balcony.
There is potential to expand the current 3 double bedrooms and bathroom as a large 70m² attached room behind the kitchen (outside) which already has several window openings could be incorporated into the main house or made into separate accommodation (subject to necessary permissions).
There are 3 stone outbuildings at the rear...
